TENIS: Nalbandián cae en Primera Ronda en Wimbledón. Federer inicia la retención del título.

El suizo Roger Federer inició hoy el intento de conquistar por sexto año consecutivo el Torneo de Wimbledon, venciendo al eslovaco Dominik Hrbaty por 6-3, 6-2 y 6-2. El argentino David Nalbandián -pre clasificado nº 7- fue eliminado del torneo, cayendo sorpresivamente ante el canadiense Frank Dancevic (foto) en 3 sets corridos. La jornada no fue propicia para los tenistas latinos, el peruano Luis Horna, el brasileño Marcos Daniel, el colombiano Alejandro Falla y los argentinos Brian Dabul y Carlos Berlocq fueron eliminados en esta primera ronda, los únicos que pudieron avanzar fueron el chileno Fernando González, el argentino Juan Martín del Potro y el brasileño Thomaz Bellucci.
